OUR STORY

Established in 2004, COÉGA Sunwear was launched with the introduction of COÉGA Pool Shoes, when I noticed a need for heat resistant & anti-slip safety around pools in & around Dubai as well as fashionable, sun-protective garments for my entire family.
Loving to sew, I took it upon myself to create swimwear for my children & me. COÉGA started with distribution to a single retail outlet in Dubai. What began with a unique pool shoe design has grown into a range of protective & modest swimwear for the whole family.
Today, COÉGA stands as a highly-commended company in the fashion sector, collaborating with major international brands, such as Disney, Marvel, Warner Bros (Batman, Superman, Looney Tunes, etc.) amongst others.

GIVING BACK

COÉGA donates 1% of its online sales towards the 'Clean Ocean Initiative'. Over the years, COÉGA has contributed to charitable campaigns like 'Drop Your Shorts For Good,' donating swimwear, the 'PINK-TOBER' campaign, donating proceeds to support Breast Cancer Awareness, and "Stop & Help", providing aid to needy families in 2020.

LOCALLY MADE

COÉGA Sunwear is proudly home-grown in the UAE. All design, manufacturing & distribution is based in our world headquarters in Jebel Ali, Dubai. Manufacturing in Dubai allows for short lead times and flexible logistics, owing to our strategic geographic location between Middle East, Asia, Africa & Europe.

Save the Ocean

To reduce impact, we recommend to use Cora Ball or Guppy Bag when washing swimwear (even sustainable ones) to prevent micro-plastic fiber shedding.
We sponsored Mangrove planting event with Azraq, actively participating. Mangroves protect coastlines, species, livelihoods, and combat climate change as carbon-rich forests.

Slow Fashion & Small Batch Production

Our ethos is to encourage slow fashion, supporting sustainable practices. We try to produce in small batches or as per customer orders. Our swimwear is crafted with Lycra XtraLife fabric, ensuring long-lasting comfort, fit and shape, embodying our commitment to reduce landfill waste.
