Established in 2004, COEGA Sunwear launched with the introduction of COEGA Pool Shoes, when our founder Maureen Hall noticed a need for anti-slip safety around pools in & around Dubai - and fashionable, sun-protective garments for the entire family.
Loving to sew, Maureen took it upon herself to create swimwear for herself & her young children. COEGA started with distribution to a single retail outlet in Dubai. What began with a unique pool shoe design has grown into a range of protective sunwear for the whole family.
Today, COEGA stands as a highly-commended company in the fashion sector, we work jointly with other major international brands, such as; Disney, Marvel, Warner Bros (Batman, Superman, Looney Tunes, etc) & others.

COÉGA Sunwear apparel & accessories are available in over 100 leading & reputable international retailers, and over 8 international e-commerce platforms, across the Middle-East & Asia. We are also expanding our presence globally, including international online outlets.
Our swimwear provides UV-protection & style, while also serving a fast-growing fashion niche offering greater coverage items for those customers who prefer a more modest form of swimwear.

COEGA Sunwear is proudly home-grown in the UAE. All design, manufacturing &Â distribution is based in our world headquarters in Jebel Ali, Dubai. Manufacturing in Dubai allows for short lead times and flexible logistics, owing to our strategic geographic location between; Middle East, Asia, Africa & Europe.
QUALITY & SUN-PROTECTION
All our swimwear is made from high-quality fabrics, specially-imported from Europe. Fabrics are certified as UV 50+ by the Australian government and can withstand; chlorine, salt & sun.
In addition, COEGA Sunwear has a fine-tuned, in-house quality control process, with a highly experienced team monitoring all aspects of our high-tech production methods - ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained.

SUSTAINABILITY & ENVIRONMENT
COEGA Sunwear believes in making swimwear with durability & longevity, using eco-friendly fabrics made with Lycra Xtra Life fibre - thus promoting sustainable fashion (more details on how COEGA achieves this, HERE).
We source majority of our fabrics from Europe. Specifically, Italy & Spain. Reducing our carbon footprint is a priority. By performing the bulk of our fabric printing in Dubai, we are reducing the need for air transport.
COEGA are a paperless company wherever possible, recycling anything we can, donating old stock to local charities, rather than a landfill and our local manufacturing cuts down on transport & fuel consumption.
Finally, a vast portion of our collection is made utilizing the ECONYL® regenerated yarn which is made by from pre and post-industrial waste including fishing nets. More on COEGA & sustainability, HERE
GIVING BACK
As the COEGA brand products promote and support healthy lifestyles, COEGAÂ is the proud sponsor of several local sports groups and swim competitions.Â
One of our most successful community initiatives is the ‘Drop Your Shorts For Good’ campaign. This charitable endeavor aims to distribute gently used or new swimwear to local lower-income workers across Dubai. With the support of Helping Hands, a local charity organization, thousands of swimwear garments have been collected and distributed since the campaign’s launch in 2011.
COEGA successfully completed our PINK-TOBER campaign in October 2019 in partnership with Al Jalila Foundation and Breast Friends to support Breast Cancer Research & Awareness, we donated 25% of our online webshop sales towards this worthy cause.
The campaign went very well and we look forward to participating in other such initiatives targeted at Giving back to the Community for a good cause.
